The Sun is Shining!

What a lovely sunny day it's been here today!

The bulbs are all flowering......

Pretty Crocus........

........ daffodils....

And aubretia, my favourite spring time flower, is just starting to bloom - I love the way it tumbles over the wall...

And Max has been enjoying some peace and quiet, sunbathing....

On Thursday we were so excited as we were able to take Spencer for his first walk....

The little pup was a bit apprehensive at first....

But he seemed to get the idea after a while.....

We only went down the lane for a few minutes....and he had to have a sit down....

It was just too much for the little pup....

So we headed for home......

Today we've spent a lovely afternoon in the garden, digging and weeding our little veggie patch, sweeping and tidying......

Of course, Spencer joined in :)

Max was supervising......

Hope it's been sunny where you are....

Have a lovely weekend :)

  1. Hi Maggie, I love the beautiful flowers with their vibrant colours!! Ours aren't quite out yet but fingers crossed for the next couple of weeks. Spencer looks soooo cute on his lead, I bet he gets a lot of attention from everyone when you take him out. Eileen xx

    1. Hi Eileen, Yes Spencer certainly turns heads when we're out and gets lots of fuss :) It's nice cos we end up chatting to people that would usually just pass us by. Hope your spring flowers are out soon. Maggie xx

  2. What a perfect day! Our crocus are blooming, too, but that's all so far. I uncovered some of my flower beds today. Yay for spring! Spencer seems to have grown a bit already.

    1. Hi, The crocus are so lovely especially when they open out in the sun. Thank goodness we are having some nice weather. Yes Spencer is growing all the time- he always seems much bigger in the house but when we take him out he seems tiny again!! Maggie xx

    1. Hi Dawn, Lovely to hear from you. So glad you like reading my blog :D Max and Spencer are still getting to know one another. It's all ok until Max decides to head off and then Spencer chases him but I think Max is in charge really. He looks at Spencer sometimes as though he is thinking 'I could teach you a thing or two, pup'. See you in a few days. Have a great week. Maggie xx

  5. Oh, the crocus is so beautiful it almost looks fake....stunning! And the primroses...oh my what beauties. I tried to grow them here but it is too hot! I'm wilting myself and I have air conditioning! LOL! And Spencer...what a cutie pie! That face just makes you want to love him to death. And he had to have a "sitdown" too funny! Bless his little heart.
