This is just a quick post before I get packed up to go to Cornbury Music Festival!
I wanted to show you this block I made for my holiday quilt. I made it whilst I was in France last month.
I found the pattern in the book 'Two Hour Mini Quilt Projects'....the same book that I found the pattern for my Red Apple Mini Quilt.
It reminds me of a patchwork cushion I made a couple of years ago....using the 'House on the Hill' block.....
I didn't have any Bondaweb with me in France so I used a dab of PVA glue to secure the pieces.....
...before hand sewing them in place....
Ok so some of the houses are a little crooked! It was all part of my design......honest!! ;)
Originally I was planning on making a bigger completed block with nine little houses.....
But I did find the process a bit fiddly so I stopped at four!
I added the little buttons to complete the cuteness!
I then pieced the small blocks together on my machine when I got home :)
A nice little addition to my holiday quilt!
Maggie xx

It's very nice. I like all the different fabric prints. :)
