I just had to show you this rainbow that appeared over Minchinhampton Common last week. It was beautiful. Unfortunately a few minutes later, there was torrential icy rain and Spencer and I got soaked!
Spencer has had an exciting week. Chris's daughter Katherine is a veterinary nurse and also works as a doggy hydrotherapist. She had a free space on Friday so we took Spencer over for a swim. He was a bit worried at first.....
but within a few minutes he was chasing a ball up and down the pool!
Don't you love his doggy life jacket?!!
He had such fun!
Then this weekend Spencer has had his cousin Bella staying over for a sleepover...they get on so well..
I tucked Bella's bed under the piano so she felt safe being away from home....
We took them both up on Rodborough Common for a walk this morning...it was such lovely weather with beautiful blue skies....
We took the path round Rodborough Fort....it's such an interesting building....
I'd love to go through those doors and see inside!
This has been the best day weather wise so far this year.
Sunny, warm and uplifting!
Thank you for popping by.
Maggie xx
Maggie I love the pictures of the doggy in the pool. Looks as if he is enjoying it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous day, indeed! Spencer is so cherished. He's a good boy!

What a gorgeous day and adventure you all had! The lifejacket is just adorable, like Spencer. It's so nice to finally be getting some nice weather! Rainbows are always a nice sight!
ReplyDeleteSpencer has the best doggie life ever! Those blue skies look wonderful. I hope to see some soon. The Rodborough Fort looks very intriguing. I would love to explore that place.
ReplyDeleteThe weather has been splendid indeed. The same over here.
ReplyDeleteSuch great pictures: the Rainbow, the castle, the blue blue sky..... what a wonderful part of the world you live in.
The picture of cousin Bella sleeping so cute is also very sweet. It's obvious she got lots and lots of love, both from Spencer and you.
What a treat for you to have two dogs to take care of. The more, the merrier.
Gorgeous rainbow and Spencer swimming...look at him go! Bella looks so sweet and must have some "pointer" in her as she was doing a good job of it in several of the pictures. Beautiful countryside and a castle? How cool is that? We don't have of those around here! LOL!
ReplyDeletelovely pictures Maggie, you know I think I got caught in the icy rain! I was totally unprepared and wearing the wrong things.I had to hide by the trees and covers my dogs eyes with my hands! It was a real surprise. The pool looks great, interesting. We are healing a broken ligament here, poor thing. Heather x
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures, such lovely views. Do you live in the town we see in the background? If so, you get to enjoy those views everyday? I am jealous! :)
